ניתן לשדרג את הקולן האישי רק אם גרסה קודמת של הקולן מותקנת במחשב.

אפשרות הפעלה נוספת באמצעות מקש F12

אפשרות להפוך את קולן ללא פעיל מבלי לסגור את התוכנה (חלונות 2000 ומעלה)

Upgrade Personal Kolan to Version 2

In order to upgrade your Personal Kolan you need to have a copy of a previous version of Personal Kolan installed on your computer.

What is new in Version 2?

Improved text capture mechanism

Hotkey options within the Personal Kolan reader screen:

- Read text that appears in the Kolan screen with F5

- Stop reading and & clear the Kolan screen with F6

Integrated help file with Hebrew & English explanations to all of the Personal Kolan functions

Clear screen button added to the Kolan Control Panel

Additional non-mouse activation option using F12 key

Enable / Disable function added to the Kolan icon menu

Show window function added to the Kolan icon menu

הוראות הורדה והתקנה:

לפני שדרוג קולן אישי יש לוודא שהעותק של קולן המותקן במחשב שלכם סגור.

1. תתבקשו לבחור: "open the file" או . "save to your computer" בחרו באפשרות: "save"

2. בשלב ראשון תורד תוכנת ההתקנה אל המחשב שלכם, זה ייקח מספר דקות , בהתאם למהירות החיבור לאינטרנט (מומלץ לשמור אותה בשולחן העבודה).

3. יש להקליק פעמיים על קובץ ההתקנה שנשמר (MPKolan.exe), והתוכנה תתחיל להתקין את עצמה.

4. במסך הראשון יש לבחור באפשרות “Modify” (ראה להלן)

5. במסך “Select components" יש לסמן את האפשרות "update" (ראה להלן)

6. בסיום ההתקנה יש ללחוץ על “Finish”. כעת ניתן להפעיל מחדש את התוכנה מתפריט התחל.

Download and Installation Instructions:

Before installing the Personal Kolan upgrade, please make sure that your current copy of Personal Kolan is closed.

1. You will be asked to choose “open the file” or “save to your computer”. Choose the option to save to your computer, (it is recommended to save it to your desktop).

2. The software will be downloaded to your computer, this may take a few minutes depending upon the speed of your internet connection.

3. Once download is completed, click twice on the file MPKolan.exe. The automatic installation will begin.

4. When prompted to choose whether to modify, repair or remove the program choose

“Modify” and press “Next”. (see below)

5. At the select components screen check the box next to “update” and press “Next” (see below).

6. Once the installation is complete press “Finish” and open the Personal Kolan from the Start Menu as usual.
